On 4/27/06, Caslione Delivers Keynote Address for Federal Express at Ellis Island, New York
On the evening of 4/27/06, John Caslione gave a keynote address at historic Ellis Island, New York at a special event hosted by Federal Express for its key corporate clients in the NY/NJ metropolitan area.
Mr. Caslione’s keynote address on globalization of business, China and India and their impact on businesses around the world and especially in the US and Europe, was very well received by FedEx’s audience of over 200 customers and other prominent guests.
In his after-dinner keynote address, Mr. Caslione delivered a 40-minute speech with insights relating to global markets, and specifically to China’s impact on Western markets, and especially the US. Following the speech was a 20-minute interactive Q&A session.
As reported by the conference organizer, “John Caslione’s message hit the mark and was a big success.”
Prior to the event Mr. Caslione autographed more than 200 of his acclaimed books on globalization for small and middle market companies, Global Manifest Destiny: “Growing Your Business in a Borderless Economy”, which were provided by FedEx to each guest as an expression of FedEx’s appreciation during the dinner event.
The representative for FedEx founder, chairman and CEO, Mr. Fred Smith, has requested that Mr. Caslione meet with Mr. Smith and his executive staff subsequent to the event.
